I am not sure how this is a kids movie because kid movies are not supposed to be so confusing. A positive about the film was that the film was visually impressive and stunning. The movie was too expensive (budget) and could have optimized that budget better.

There were many blemishes that I found including a muddled plot, lazy premise, lack of urgency, no tension until the final scene, underwhelming story, does not live up to its classic characters and it was loud. Alice has a tough task on hand, and that is to save the Mad Hatter before time runs out and another huge problem that I will not spoil for those who have not watched the film. The Mad Hatter wishes to find out what happens to his family, so Alice decides to take it upon herself and use the Chronosphere to travel through time which let her see her friends along with enemies during different periods of their lives.

Alice did not like what she saw in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter is madder than usual. The film contains action scenes, dark fantasy, time travel, fire-breathing dragon, invisibility rivalry, backward time travel, surrealism, fantasy world, a female protagonist, and no suspense.Īlice Through the Looking Glass revolves around Alice discovering a magical looking glass that transports her to Wonderland.
